Silver & Walnut Ring Box

In the late C18th James Sandy, who lived in Alyth invented a special type of hinged wooden snuff box.  His concealed hinge prevented grains of snuff from becoming clogged and resulted in an airtight box.  Some 250 years later another Alyth based box maker, Paul, has researched how the boxes were made and has created a C21st version totally hand-made in walnut.

We have added to the appeal a silver disc which can be engraved with a crest, monogram or initial to add that special personal touch.  This first batch includes the Jubilee punch which will only be used in 2022, making our original stock even more special.
