A diamond is ‘a girl’s best friend’ and the appeal of the single stone or solitaire diamond ring is enduring. Below we show examples of rings we have created for our clients.
We sourced this old cut cushion diamond (2.30 carats) selected tapered baguette cuts for the shoulders before setting them into a hand-made platinum and 18 carat yellow gold mount.
Set into a hand-made platinum mount our 1 carat, D colour, SI1 clarity natural diamond has small stones set into the shank shoulders.
Whilst the round brilliant cut, 0.98 carat is claw set in platinum the shank is 18 carat yellow gold and diamond set.
The simple elegance of a single oval cut diamond, 1.21 carats, G colour, clarity SI2 set into a 4 claw platinum mount with 18 carat yellow gold shank.
Set into a ‘spectacle’ style hand-made platinum mount designed to allow the maximum light into the stone with split shoulder 18 carat yellow gold shank.
A natural, certificated, round brilliant cut diamond, 1.35 carats, G colour, clarity SI2 set into a simple platinum mount.
Typically diamonds are claw mounted to allow maximum light into the stone. In this case lifestyle considerations meant a rub-over mount would be more appropriae.
The 0.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond is flanked by a pair tapered baguette cuts all set in a hand-made platinum mount.
The antique old cushion cut diamond is mounted in a platinum rub-over setting. Being hand cut old-cuts are wonderfully individual stones, we either repurpose from your old jewellery or can source.
